We survived the road trip to return home to a streak of bad luck!
We returned from Texas on the 1st and things have not stopped! As soon as we arrived home I had a streak of bad luck, which started with running into the house as soon as I pulled in the driveway from being on the road for 11 hours. Let me explain, we borrowed my in-laws Car Top Luggage Carrier which was a great help, but being as tired as I was I forgot about it on top of the car. I called Charles a few minutes out from the house and ask him to get things ready to put the babies straight in the bed for the night and to have the garage open. I was so happy to be home I began to pull in the garage when I heard this horrible sound, and then I remembered the thing on top. Tears just rolled down my face because I had no idea what all I had torn up. We could not even deal with it until the next morning when we discovered we would be purchasing a new car topper for the in-laws! It was all busted up and the paint was scratched off but the car and the house were fine. The same night I arrived home Charles also informed me that Vernita (the lady who helps me) would not be able to work for us as much. This was devastating since she is such a dear friend and with her I can be normal and have some sanity. I just cried and cried!! The next morning after Charles took the thing off the car and we totaled up the damage he was ready to go, so ready that he put his truck in reverse and smacked Venita's car. No, I am not kidding he banged it up real good and now we are waiting for insurance to check all that out. I spent all day attempting to take down all the Christmas decorations which was quite a job. I have so much stuff and Charles says every year that it looks like Dillards! We also wanted to watch the rebels play so I was trying to get ready for that. Charles was running errands and I decided I needed to clean out the tub in our bathroom. I fill it with water and pour bleach in so I can clean the jets out. In the middle of this Chris shows up to watch the game and I start doing other things, do you see where I am going with this. Yes, I forgot about the bathtub until I went to take some laundry to the back and water was all over the bathroom floor. I yelled for Chris to come and help me. We were able to get it all cleaned up before any damage was done. Needless to say I sat in the floor and cried a little more. It was starting to become humorous and I new it had to get better. In all of this I have not had the opportunity to post but I am today so be prepared to catch up.

560 miles.............I have lost my mind!
The babies and I are heading out to Texas today with my parents and sister. We have planning this trip for awhile and now that it has arrived I am beginning to question myself. I think I could be crazy since they have trouble making the 2 1/2 trip to my grandmas! We are going to Tomball, TX where my aunt and uncle live and the trip is 560 miles, an estimated 9 1/2 hours. I am praying we make it in 12 hours at least. We will be back on the 1st and I will let everyone know how the trip turned out and post all of our Christmas pictures.

Too Cute
We went and stayed with my cousins in Germantown last week and they are so great to us. Kim gave them there Christmas present and it is the cutest thing ever. It is a rocking snail and the babies love it so much. Thank you so much guys we play on it everyday!
This was taken as soon as we got home and he was going crazy for a bottle. He is so tired and decided to feed himself.

Playing Catch Up
Again, I am going to catch everyone up with some marathon blogging! I always have it on the to do list but it never gets done. The babies are keeping me so busy and with all the holiday stuff going on and weekly trips to Memphis, I am just happy to get dressed in the mornings. I know everyone understands this because we are all running crazy. Speaking of a to do list, I have decided to call it a "all the crap I come up with to do list" That seems like it fits a little better because according to Charles half the stuff on the list does not have to be done. I then I remember "Oh Yes, because a magic freaking fairy comes and does it, how dumb of me!" Anyways I hope everyone is all ready for Christmas and enjoy catching up on us!
Kammy's Birthday
First things first, Kammy's Birthday! We celebrated a little late because things were very crazy around her birthday. We love our Kammy and we are so glad we were able to celebrate with her.
Physical Therapy
Bryant is doing great with physical therapy and Jodie feels as though he is making great progress. We are going each week and sometimes Lucy Kate goes with us, so I have some video of her crawling all around. Bryant will soon catch up with her as long as we continue with therapy.

Good job Bryant!

Eye Doctor
A few weeks ago we went to the pediatric opthomologists for a follow up with Bryant and an initial visit for Lucy Kate. Our pediatrician wants us to keep a watch on Bryant to make sure his eyes stay strong and she wanted us to check out some "spots" on Lucy Kate. They are called something another and they can be related to other things, so she wanted us to have her eyes checked for certain things. Everything checked out fine and we will follow up with Lucy Kate in one year and the pediatrician will keep an eye on her "spots" to make sure they do not change. Bryant checked out great as well and he will go back in 3 months for another checkup.
It was freezing that day, so they were very bundled up.
Lucy Kate is such a big girl and was so sweet to the doctor.
Wanted to share this cute photo of Lucy Kate at her first pedicure. We went between doctor's appointments while the boys were eating lunch. She is so looking forward to her turn.
Neurosurgeon
The same week we also went to see a pediatric neurosurgeon for a recommended follow up. Back in April when we were in the hospital the CT scan that was done revealed that Bryant's spine did not completely form. He is missing from S2 down, which can be a big deal or not. We have to wait and see if it affects certain things as he gets older. The neurosurgeon said that he looks great as far as he can tell, but he is not a bone specialist. He recommended us to an orthopedic surgeon on January 5th just to make sure that he has enough bone to support his spine as he grows. If I think about it to much it can be scary but we are leaving it in God's Hands as we have done all the things that Bryant has been through.
Supper Club
At the end of a very week filled with doctor's appointments we had supper club at Julie and Shade's house. We had such a great time just visiting, eating, celebrating Rachel's birthday, and playing dirty santa. We enjoy this time with friends so much and we are hoping to continue with supper club every other month!
Supper Club party was such a blast!
Christmas in Manila
Christmas in Manila is always a great time and wonderful to see everyone all together. Each year at this time my mom's family comes together to celebrate Christmas at my grandparent's home in Manila, AR. It is so exciting to have the babies to take this year and they had such a great time. This was the first time they have ever opened presents and they really enjoyed the bows and paper. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and I wish we were all together more often.
Great times with family!

Christmas Pajamas
I am blogging about this because I could kick myself for buying these pajamas. I was determined to find cute striped Christmas pajamas and OH did I find them. I fould them at Merry Market and they were extremely overpriced for something 9 month old babies sleep in, but of course I bought them. I am determined to have them wear them as much as possible and they just might be our Valentine pajamas as well! The pajamas are nothing special but they do look so cute in them.
Such a Great Feeling
It is hard to believe the race is over. It was such a great experience and worth every minute of training and all the miles we ran for those 12 weeks. This was a goal I set for myself after the babies were born and it feels so great to have accomplished it. St. Jude if such a wonderful place and the race was a great thing to be part of. Our group that trained together did wonderful and we all finished very close together. I also felt so honored to be part of Alexa's team! We are still so pumped about this race that we are making plans to do another 1/2 marathon in Nashville the end of April. The training starts the beginning of February and we have recruited some new people wot run with us.
Waiting on the race to start and trying to stay warm
After the race my sweet husband was waiting on me and my mom also came!

Pray for us that we finish in good time and that all goes well. We are so honored to be part of Alexa's team with 60+ members.
