Madelyn's Minnie Party

So happy we were able to celebrate with Madelyn on her 3rd birthday. Everybody thinks I am crazy to drive so far for a birthday party, but it is not just any party! Madelyn's mom Andrea is one of my best friends and we don't see each other often, so I make it a point to go just so we can catch up. We are so blessed to have children so close in age and I know they will all be such great friends. The party was so much fun and we can't wait to see them again in March.

Happy Birthday Will

The kids had a great time at Will's Cowboy Party. Bryant loves to ride horses and Lucy Kate was willing to ride with me. They had a great time and we are so happy we were able to celebrate with Will!

First School Party

So excited that Bryant and Lucy Kate had there first party at school! A Valentine's party and of course I had to go. The kids received tons of valentine's and had snacks. So simple but so important to me and they had the best time!
Prayer before they eat, love some PDS!

She loves her seat because she knows food is coming!

More Snow

Feb. 9th we had another good snow! We were initially excited until we attempted to head out and play in it and we realized it was entirely too cold this time. After that we were just ready for it to snow and now we are ready for spring.

My little painters

Pappy gave them this great art set for Christmas and I keep putting it off (because of the cleanup). We got it out, stripped down and painted away. They loved it and now they ask to paint everyday!

First Day of School

Unbelievable that my children started school January 31, 2011 at PDS in Clarksdale. We have been talking about it so much and they really needed this since they have always been at home. Interaction with other kids and routine is just what they needed. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Mona and Mrs. Teressa as their teachers. I know all parents feel the same way when they drop there kids off for the first time at school, "how could it be that they are old enough for this." I seriously had tears when I had to leave and could not wait to get back to pick them up.
Good Morning Sunshines! Lets get ready for school
On our way
We were able to go in with them to check it all out
Here they go, my little babies are going to school
Bryant jumped right in and never looked back

Lucy Kate was pretty excited but would of liked for us to stay
The classroom

Charles and I stayed for about 15 minutes and then Mrs Mona told us it was time to go. I just did not want to walk out that door. I just want to know what they are doing every minute of every day and all that they are learing. To be at this point is such a blessing and we are so thankful each and every day.

Bath time fun

Being trapped inside all the time is driving us crazy, so we thought we would have a little fun in the tub! Filled it up with bubbles and they were entertained for a little while. With the upcoming weather forecast we are going to need some more bubble time!
