Leaving for the beach: First plane ride June 10th 2011
The kiddos at the beach was so much fun and a lot of work! The kids and I flew to the beach this year, which was the first plane trip for all the kids. It was an experience and I am pretty sure we will be on the no fly list! It was just really hot, a small plane and everyone new us by the time we landed. Bryant ended the flight by screaming the entire time we were descending that he needed to tee-tee! Mom met us at the airport and we headed to the house at Miramar Beach, it was great and the neighborhood was perfect. Kim and the boys made it late that night and we were headed out to the beach bright and early the next morning. Bryant was so excited, Lucy Kate took a couple of days to get used to the ocean, and Emma cried a lot! She just wasn't sure about it so she spent more time at the pool. The time with family was great, food was delicious, shopping was good and I love spending time with my mom! By Thursday night it was just time to come home, so we packed up and drove all night. It worked out great because the kids slept and we only had to stop once. So thankful for a great trip and can't wait to go back next year!
