Prayer

I have been through many hard times, as has everyone else. These past few days have been very difficult. Charles' grandmother has been very sick and even though she made it back home from the hospital, we new she would not be with us too much longer. While we were gone to the beach she took a turn for the worse. She was basically just sleeping, no more eating or talking and the only time she would open her eyes and when something was being done to her. It has been so hard on everyone to watch her suffer and to be helpless. As we sat by her bedside we prayed that the Lord would take the pain away and allow her to come home to Him. This morning she was called home and even though we know she is so much better with Him, it is still a difficult time for everyone. I ask that you pray for those she left behind, that they will have peace and comfort in knowing that she is watching over them from above.

Oh The Places We Go

This was the first trip for the babies to go to the beach and they loved it. The drive was long and they rode in the car better than the rest of us! We went with my mom, my cousin Kim, her three boys and a girlfriend. We were a little cramped for space but the week was wonderful. I had so much help and was able to enjoy the beach all alone during nap times. I love the beach so much and enjoyed every minute of it. Of course we attempted beach pictures and I was able to get a few cute shots and hopefully we can get some really good ones when we go back in August. We did all the normal things you do at the beach, ate great food, went to the pool, took entirely to much stuff, enjoyed the ocean view and took naps on the beach.

I just completed a bunch of new post that I have been behind on. I wanted to get caught up before I started on the beach trip. We left Saturday morning at 8:40 and arrived at our condo at 7:00 P.m. Yes it took for ever because we stopped and ate for an hour and also stopped to do a little shopping at the Watermelon Patch (shoes of course) and a few gas station stops. The babies were PERFECT and I could not have been happier with them! The whole trip has been great for them, they love the beach and the water so much. I have taken tons of pictures and I will work on posting them first chance I get.

Shopping

I have been pretty limited in taking the babies shopping when I do not have any help. We had gone to pick up my car in Memphis and I needed to go by Babies "R" Us very badly, so off we went. I locked the kids in the car, found a cart, covered it in hand sanitizer and loaded one in at a time. Lucy Kate in the bottom and Bryant in the top. I think it should be a law that all stores with carts have the ones where two children can ride up top. I had the car full and was pulling another one, but we made it!

His New Love

I made Bryant and Lucy Kate popsicles and He loved them so much. She had a few licks but he finished off the whole thing. He would even do a little dance after each bite and was upset when it was all gone. I will have to keep these in the freezer all summer long to keep him happy.

Pure Joy

A great time with my hubby!

Charles and I have been so excited to go to the Sugarland and Keith Urban concert and we had a great time. The concert was great and well worth a late night home and an early morning of heading to the beach. Charles and I have been trying to have a date night once a month. We try to go out of town and do something different or eat somewhere new. Here are a few pics from the concert, they look far away but we had good seats.

One Minute

Bryant and Lucy Kate were eating spaghetti and as I was doing other things in the kitchen. ne minute is all it took for her to look like this! She was so tired and rubbing her eyes and that is how she ended up so dirty.

I had forgotten about these pictures and they were too cute not to share. We love to go to the pool after the babies wake up at 4:00, so while we are at the pool it is snack time. The babies just lounged by the poolside enjoying the sun.

Jack and Katie's Birthday

Happy Birthday Jack and Katie

Jack and Katie celebrated their 4th Birthday and the party was great! Jennie had it at Moon Lake and had slides for the kids to play on. They loved it and maybe next time Lucy Kate and Bryant will be big enough. The cakes were so cute and delicious.

We were so excited to make it to Lilli's 2nd birthday. Betsy and Phillip mean so much to us, I met Betsy at Delta State and we try so hard to stay in touch. Lilli is so precious and her birthday was perfect. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you.

Summer has Officially Started!!

We are loving summer time and the pool was a must to kick off the summer and a trip to the lake. The babies went to the pool a little last year but they were way to young to enjoy it. This year they are riding in the turtle floats and they love to splash. Megan is my helper for the pool because I am not able to take them by myself, I would go crazy. Charles was able to go with us since it had rained, so they enjoyed splashing around with their daddy. We also tested out our camera to see if it really took underwater pics and it did, so I thought I would share some.

We were lucky enough to go out to the lake with Lee, Farrah, Anna, and Abby (Charles' cousins). They are so sweet and so great with the babies. We rode around on the boat and Bryant and Lucy Kate helped drive the boat and got some sun. They napped at Lee and Farrah's house and we enjoyed watching the girls knee board.
