Poor Baby

You never know what each day will bring and when we woke up Sunday morning Bryant was very out of character. Charles got up with the kids and started breakfast and Bryant would not stop crying. He wanted to be held, was not interested in eating and the crying continued for hours. We were ready for church so Lucy Kate and I went and Charles stayed home with Bryant. When we returned home Charles had discovered Bryant was having some problems in his private area. After some phone calls and Rachel coming over to check him out we decided to head to LeBonheur. It was very necessary because he was in so much pain. My parents met us at the hospital and entertained Lucy Kate in the waiting room. A urine analysis was necessary to check out everything and the results showed a serious UTI. They came in and gave him a shot, some tips on easing the pain, and antibiotics to start. It just kills you when your child is in so much pain but he is 100% better and I am so thankful to have LeBonheur so close to home.

6 Wonderful Years

May 22 marked our 6 year anniversary and we feel so blessed. We have made so many great memories, created a family, been through some trying times and it all made us stronger. I am so thankful Charles is such a great provider and leads his family in the right direction. God is at the center of our marriage and we have to give Him all the credit for the wonderful things He has done in our life. I look forward to all the things He has in store for us in the future.
May 22, 2004 a day of pure bliss
Anniversary celebration 3 years later in 2007

Still just as happy today and so much to be thankful for as our
family has grown and continues to grow.

A little different this time

Last time I was on bed rest it was filled with days of peace and quite, no the case anymore. Lucy Kate insist on resting with me!

A Roaring Good Time

Warner celebrated his 4th birthday and the theme was dinosaurs! The kids had so much fun playing in the Jurassic Park Bouncer, eating cake and running around. It was so humid and Bryant and Lucy Kate ended up in the drink bucket full of ice. Bryant was drenched with sweat and loved the bouncer. Lucy Kate was a little overwhelmed with all the kids so she hung in the doorway of the bouncer.
The birthday boy and the only picture I have he is scratching his nose.
Such a cute cake and Lucy Kate's favorite part

Mother's Day

Forgot to share pictures from Mother's Day so had to post for memories. Charles and the kids cooked pancakes and gave me gifts and cards. He had a card from each child and even one from Emma! It was so sweet and I just love a card so you can go back and read them years later. We went to church in Helena with my parents and headed to Southaven to have lunch. Mom wanted Olive Garden but the wait was 2 1/2 hours, so we settled for Mexican. It was a great afternoon and I am so thankful I am able to celebrate such a special day!
At least we attempted

Pregnancy would not be the same............

............without a trip to the hospital for contractions. I have been having contractions since 29 weeks and it has been fine. Just a little extra rest and monitoring to make sure they do not have a pattern. Friday evening I was not feeling well and after two hours of contractions that were painful I decided to call the doctor. It was around 10:30 and he wanted us to head to the hospital. After Vernita arrived at the house to stay with the babies until my dad could get there we left for the hospital. We checked in around 12:30 and they started IV fluids, put me on the monitor and checked everything out. I was not feeling them as strong but still having lots of contractions. I just prayed that no magnesium would be needed. If you have ever had it you understand why it is such a fear. After an hour of monitoring Dr. Homesi decided meds were needed to stop the contractions. Just a shot and meds by mouth and the contractions slowed down. We were moved to a room around 4AM and got two hours of sleep. Dr. Homesi decided to send me home on partial bed rest and oral meds to keep the contractions calm. I was so happy to know we were going home and I was so ready to see Bryant and Lucy Kate.
I am 33 weeks pregnant today and I know I can make it a little longer. It is in God's hands and I know that Emma will be fine. A few more weeks would be great but things would work out if she decided to make her entrance in the next few days. I have everything all ready for the hospital and hopefully things situated for Lucy Kate and Bryant. Please keep us in your prayers.

Fun at the Fair

We went to St. George's fair and the babies had a great time. Lots of booths were set up for the kids with prizes to win. They were able to bowl, go to the post office, and pick ducks! Thanks to Papa D for helping us out.

Great Friends

Playdates with friends are a must and always help the afternoon go by. Last week Kate, Mary Mason, Stratton, Ginger, Warner, and Jackson. The kids put on their swimsuits and had so much fun playing in the backyard.

Music Fun

Abbey brought her guitar over and the babies loved it so much! Abbey has been helping in the afternoons some during the week, and we are so thankful!

Fun with Ma Ma

The babies have the best time playing with Ma Ma. They were watching
cartoons and had to get a picture!

Our little Helper

Since I have been limited more and more Vernita is doing even more around the house. Lucy Kate loves to help with any kind of cleaning, washing, picking up, making beds, or dusting. She was helping Vernita and it was the cutest thing!

Mad Scientist

Just too funny! After eating dinner this is what he looked like. He loves to run his dirty little hands all through his hair.

Bryant's First Haircut

Back in March Bryant had his first haircut! I am just now posting because I failed to have my camera ready so we had to use Melinda. I just got the pics from her so I had to share. He did not want to sit in the chair by himself so he sat in my lap and had a snack. He did great and you would never know he had it cut, he just needed to be cleaned up! Thanks to sweet Melinda, she is the best.
