Lucy Kate's First Haircut

Thanks to Mary Evelyn for giving Lucy Kate her first haircut. She loved it and kept talking about how cute she was! Bryant had a haircut as well but it was not his first so no pics.

Emma's first month

The first month has come and gone and we have all survived. It started with Lucy Kate not being so welcoming to her new baby sister. This has gotten better as she now wants to kiss and love the baby. Bryant did not show much interest at first but now he uses horrible behavior to make sure he is getting enough attention. The terrible twos and a new baby sister are not the perfect mix but we are trying to figure it all out. Emma is still just sleeping and eating, so she is pretty simple. I am exhausted and can't wait for a full nights sleep again, but Emma is such a blessing and this is exactly the life Charles and I prayed for.

Surprise

We celebrated Ginger's 30th birthday with a girls day out to the spa and a makeover (pictures to come) and then a surprise party. After much planning and a few small lies we managed to surprise Ginger with a party at the club. The music, food, cake, and good company made for a great night!

Colton's Birthday

We were able to go to Oxford this past weekend and celebrate Colton's 2nd birthday at the Park. Bryant and Lucy Kate had the best time playing with all the kids. We made it a family event and had lunch and ran errands. Emma did well for such a big outing!

We had a great time celebrating with Riley Kate for her birthday. It was one hot day but the kids had a great time playing in the pool.

Just needed to get out of the house so we all went out to fish and play golf. Such a great place to take pictures and the kids have so much fun running around.

Lucy Kate has been in need of some extra attention, so Mary Evelyn came to get her one morning and take her shopping. They went and bought lots of jewelry and she had the best time. She loves to put it all on and she looks like Mr. T.

Thanks Everyone

Everyone has been so great bringing food and coming to visit us. It is so great to have such great friends and family that love us so much. Emma is so special and we are so happy to celebrate these times with everyone.
