My mom is quite a character! She calls me Monday as she is on her way to Batesville to buy a new vacuum cleaner (the exact one that I wanted) and she wanted the babies and I to go car shopping with her. She loves Hefner Motors outside of Batesville and she was going to stop by and look around. She starts out saying that she wanted to get something sporty and go smaller (she had a GMC Envoy) but this was not the case. We looked at the GMC Arcadia, ask a few questions and mom did a short test drive and that was all she needed. Remind you she had decided she was going to buy it without even driving it, so I encouraged her to at least do that. After the test drive I asked her if she wanted to look at something else or wait and go to Memphis to look and she said "no I think this will work and I would buy a GMC anyways". The deal was done and she was headed home in her new Arcadia. It is a great vehicle and the babies enjoyed a little time playing in it.

The BIRTHDAY BOY!
Warner turned three and he celebrated this past weekend with a train birthday party. The weather was not so great but it held off long enough for the kids to ride the train. I squeezed in to take Lucy Kate and Bryant on a ride and then they rode with John Andrew and Rutledge. Warner is so precious to us and we are so glad we were able to celebrate with him!

My Little Helpers
I was trying to clean out the fridge (running low on room) and I had some great help. They love the fridge and they were throwing everything around in the kitchen. You will have to excuse the fact that they are partially dressed, breakfast was a little messy!
5 Years
Charles and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary with a dinner date to Waltz in Oxford. We had a great evening and the restaurant was great. A babysitter and a night out to be adults was the perfect anniversary. Charles also surprised me with pearl earrings that are so beautiful! I love him so much and there is nobody else that I would rather spend the rest of my life with.

New View
A few weeks ago we ordered the new carseats and Bryant and Lucy Kate love being able to see the world. Since they have turned around Lucy Kate does not like to sleep in the car anymore (a bit of a pain when she is fighting it). I love these carseats, they are so funky! We are going to start practicing watching the dvd player to get ready for our drive to the beach.
He is so funny with these glasses, he just lets them hang on his face.
She falls asleep a few minutes before we arrive, everytime!

Answered Prayers
God is so amazing and He has answered our prayers in healing Mrs. Emma. The tube was removed from her throat after two successful days of breathing on her own (for the most part) and she was moved out of the ICU to the floor. Our family feels so fortunate and we are so glad that she is starting to feel better. In the morning she is having a swallow study done and hopefully the NG tube will be removed and she can have some real food. Please continue to pray for her as this will be a long road.

All about Emily
A few weeks ago I had a senior party for Emily and the other girls in her class. We had such a great time giving the girls pedicures and I am so thankful to Landon, Jennifer, and Jennie for all there help. We played games and had virgin daiquiris, the girls really enjoyed themselves. On mothers day Emily graduated from DeSoto School and we are so excited. My parents have had a child going to that school for like 28 years and they are thrilled to be done with that. She is planning on attending ASU in Jonesboro, AR. and we are so proud of her! We also were so fortunate to have Aunt Dale and Uncle Sonny join us for this exciting time in Emily's life. They are always so much fun to have around and so much help with the babies. Hopefully we will be able to make it out to Texas again this summer.
Prayers Needed
I have much to blog about, but first I ask that you keep our family in your prayers. Charles' grandmother was taken to the hospital in the night Thursday due to difficulty breathing. She has been in ICU at Helena hospital on a respirator and they have tried to take her off the vent. This was unsuccessful so they airlifted her to Memphis today to be with with doctors that specialize in this. I ask that you pray for God's will in this situation and give Mr. Roger, Chuck and Allen the strength to get through this. I also ask that you keep Aunt Beverly (Charles' aunt) in your prayers as her mother passed away Saturday morning and we had the funeral today.

Thanks Be to God for Sweet Relief
We went this past Tuesday for Lucy Kate's MRI at LeBonheur. We were scheduled early so we went up and spent the night and Charles met us the next morning. We have been pretty relaxed about the whole thing but as we waited I began to feel so nervous. They came in and put in the IV which was a nightmare as she is screaming "momma". I just started crying and of course Charles was so strong and kept holding her. We were only there a few hours, but in the pit of my stomach these few hours and this one simple test could change our lives forever. We left and went on with our daily things with the hopes that we would here from the doctor very soon. Nothing on Tuesday afternoon, nothing on Wednesday and on Thursday after lunch I was becoming very impatient. Charles had already called once and then I called to leave another message. Thursday around 3:30 the nurse called Charles and told him that the test would be read the next day and she was so sorry that we were having to wait. I just wanted to cry because I was so anxious to know the results. The nurse called a little after 5:00 and she had ask the doctor to go ahead and read the MRI and it was perfect!!!!!!!!!! It was such a moment of sweet relief to know that the MRI did not show any cyst or tumors. This is all related to the spots she has and it is part of the process to make sure that tumors do not form on her nerves. We will have to do a repeat MRI in a year and continue with that for quite sometime. God knows how to keep you on your toes but his rewards and blessings and always so great.
Guitar Hero
I was trying to clean up so I had to find something to entertain him and this was a hit with him. I had given him everything and the guitar to the Wii was the best thing ever. Lucy Kate was still asleep so we enjoyed a little one on one time.
