Sneaky

The kids are obsessed with snack time and they love to get into the snack cabinet. I here Bryant in the hall and sure enough he comes around the corner with the raisins, cramming them in his mouth!

Practicing for the Years to come

Trying to keep Bryant and Lucy Kate entertained becomes very challenging. We are so ready to be outside everyday and forget about all this cold weather. Charles put in a duck hunting video and had the kids practice shooting the ducks! Bryant was all into it and it was so cute. Charles has taught them all about Guss the duck hunting dog and as soon as Lucy Kate lays eyes on Guss she says "duck dog"

A wonderful New Year

The new year is always built up and for some it is a time of starting over, paying off bills, making resolutions, or maybe changes for your family. In our case it has been filled with great thoughts of our bundle of joy that will arrive in early July. We have started planning and beginning to make lots of list for changes around our house. Lucy Kate and Bryant will move to big beds, the office will become the new nursery, having some rooms painted, and a few new things here and there. For New Year's we went to the club for a celebration with friends and had a good time. The night was a little slow but I was just happy to be awake at midnight. I go to bed very early and I love to have my sweats on with this ever growing belly. I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2010 filled with many blessings!

Snow

It doesn't happen often but it snowed and we had to go out in it for a minute. We bundled the babies up like it was a blizzard but you just never want them to get to cold! They rode their new toys and didn't really get in the snow too much.

He really looks like a chunk here, guess it was all the clothes

Our sweet neighbor John Andrew always comes out to help

Poor Bailey he never makes the blog anymore

Our favorite Texans!

Yes, Aunt Dale and Uncle Sonny came for a visit and it was great! They mean so much to us and we have managed to see them about every 6 months since the babies have been born. They made the long drive the day after Christmas and stayed a few days. They are so much help and we really miss them, can't wait to see them again!

Jennifer, Ginger, and Me

Every year after Christmas some of us girls from graduate school get together to catch up and play dirty Santa! It is always so much fun and I always realize how much I miss all of them. We all met at Landon's and we should really get together more often.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is started with Christmas in Lula. Lunch is at Mr. Roger's house and it was very different this year. The first Christmas without Mrs. Emma but everything was still done the same way and it was nice to be with family. The kids all love to open all the gifts and they will drive you crazy waiting to do so. We are so thankful for such a great family who love us so much. After lunch and gifts at Rogers we go to Chuck and Catherine's house to open gifts. The babies of course were ready for naps so we opened without them. It all goes by so fast and it just seems like it should last forever. Nana and Papa got the kids riding toys and gift certificates to Pumpkin Patch. Thanks so much to everyone for such a great Christmas eve! After we celebrate in Lula we headed back to my house and had dinner with my family. Mom and I had cooked all day the day before and when we sat down to eat we just couldn't figure out what took so long! We opened some gifts, made cookies for Santa, put out the reindeer food and we were all ready for Christmas morning.

Let the Celebrating Begin

We were very busy during the Christmas holidays and we enjoyed our time with friends and family. Jack and Katie had the cookie swap to start off the Christmas season. It was great and Santa stopped by to visit! Charles and I celebrated with our Sunday school and had so much fun playing white elephant dirty Santa. The speech therapist that I work with came over for dinner and we just love getting together, they are so special to me! We celebrated with family in Memphis and had a get together at our house with good friends. You get worn out during all this but it means so much to spend time with everyone and we wouldn't have it any other way.

WE LOVE COOKIES!!

Bryant loved Santa and Lucy Kate would not go close

Christmas with family in Memphis
Christmas with good friends! We played white elephant dirty Santa and the gifts were hilarious. The 4 worst were a painted leopard lamp, a painted magazine rack, a denim shirt that appeared to be bedazzled, and some type of horse gravy boat!

Marshmellow Roasting

We love to build a fire so what goes with a fire, marshmallows! Lucy Kate and Bryant were not sure about it but they gave it a try.
Watching Daddy
Not to sure about these marshmallows!

Doctor with Mom

I have only had two doctors appointments but Charles and the babies have been able to go with me. Keeping them entertained is quite a job, so what else is better than doctor's gloves! As for the checkups everything is going great and we are scheduled for an ultra sound the beginning of February, hopefully we will know what we are having.
