We Love Family Visits

Aunt Pat, Holly, Kim, and Cameron came to see the babies and we were so excited. Aunt Pat has been sick for awhile and unable to come and visit. They fed the babies while they were here and spent lots of time with them. Cameron and Holly were able to hold the babies and we got some cute pictures. It was so great to see you guys!

We have a Thumb Sucker on our Hands!

Someone is Getting Hungry! We went with Charles to check all the wells and the babies were getting a little pissy after a couple of hours. We had to hurry home to feed this sweet baby.

Emily's Senior Pictures

Mom and I took pictures during Emily's senior picture shoot. We had the best time and she looked so beautiful. We will miss her so much next year!

The Galloping Jumperoo!!

This is our newest toy and Bryant love it so much!! Lucy Kate is not quite tall enough so her feet do not touch the floor but Bryant can jump like crazy. We took tons of pics and a video of Bryant.

Long and Crazy Week

As most of you know I am very organized and all about a schedule. The babies have been on a pretty good schedule and sleeping for most of the night, but this week was all off. Monday we went to the pediatrician and they got 4 month shots, good Lord this was a disaster. They immediately starting running a low grade temp and I started giving them Tylenol. This went on for 3 days and in this 3 days sleeping at night was not on the top of the list. They were very whinny and they both wanted to be held all the time and did not want to sleep. On Tuesday it was time to change Bryant's trach. This was a nightmare because it made his trach very wet and he had to be suctioned all night long. Usually this is not that big of a deal but it drug on all week. Thursday we left bright and early for the ENT and it was just an emotional trip. I always have this hope that I will walk in and Dr. Thompson will say "lets take it out, everything looks great." Of course this did not happen and we just had a heart to heart and I really have no idea when this trach will be coming out. We rushed back home to help Emily with her senior pictures, which was so exciting. She looked beautiful and Chuck Lamb did a great job! Anyways the week was just crazy and with the mix of emotions, sleep deprivation, and just feeling blah I am just glad it is over. I do have some great pictures to share, so enjoy!

Eye Appointment

Yes, we went to another doctor today. Bryant is trying to set some type of record by seeing every possible doctor in the world! We had a follow up visit from LeBonheur and we had noticed that his eyes seemed a "little lazy". After a very long wait, they dialated his eyes and Dr. Hoehn said that his eyes did turn in some but it is nothing to be concerned with at this time. All babies eyes will turn in at some point and usually this will disappear at 3 months, she is giving Bryant 2 more months to correct the problem since he was a preemie. Keep us in your prayers as we have hit the 3 month mark for Bryant having his trach. We hope this will be the half way mark and this thing will be coming out in October.

A little stressed at this point as he is so upset.

Talking to Dixie

Lucy Kate's First Trip to the Pool!!

First time in the swimming pool!

Lucy Kate has been very fussy and does not seem to like anything she used to, so we decided to try the pool. I waited until she woke up from a good nap and attempted it and it was SUCCESSFUL!! She truly enjoyed just sitting in the water and kicking her feet. All the little kids were just staring at her and wanted her to go under water (maybe next year).

A Posting Request

Andrea requested that I post photos of the nursery, so I finally took the pics and I am posting. I did not realize that I never posted these pics. I still have things I want to do to the nursery but it works for now! Enjoy the pics Andrea.

First Trip to Church

I was so excited that we go tto take the babies to church today!! We have waited to long to take our whole family to church. The babies were wonderful and never made a peep, they slept the whole time. Hopefully we will have the oppurtunity to go back next week.
All loaded up and ready to go to church
We survived and got a pic while the babies were still asleep

First Time with Cereal!

This weekend was the first time the babies tried cereal, and they were not to sure about it. They acted as though they liked it and then Lucy Kate would start screaming and crying. We had so much fun and of course we videoed and took tons of pictures.

The many faces they can make are so funny!

Whenever we go to Memphis we always stop and see our cousins. Pete, Kim, Patrick, Peyton, and Cameron are so sweet to us and we are so grateful to them for all they have done. Before we went to the ENT on Thursday we stopped by to visit.

ENT Visit

Yesterday Bryant, Lucy Kate, Aunt Emily, and I went to Memphis for Bryant's ENT appointment. Dr. Thompson confirmed that he does have an infection in his trach (this is normal) so we started antibiotics. While at the appointment they changed his trach which I was so thankful for. I dread having to do this every two weeks and it was nice to have someone else take on the task. Of course I asked if we could have a CT scan any earlier than October, and the answer was the same "no". I am so ready but Dr. Thompson will not do a repeat until Bryant has had the trach for 6 weeks! We will have 3 months behind us on the 19th of this month and I am so thankful for that. According to Dr. Thompson things look great and he will see us again in two weeks (we are still having the granulation tissue burned off).

Keri and Courtney

Thanks to Keri and Courtney afternoons have become easier. They are so sweet and love the babies so much they come and hang out with us. They were able to help with bath time and feedings so I was so excited!

Kasey and Mason came to Clarksdale

Kasey wanted to come and see Bryant and Lucy Kate and give Mason and Warner the oppurtunity to play so she came to Clarksdale today. Warner and Mason swam together and Lucy Kate and I met them for lunch. Kasey was able to hand out with the babies and we got some cute pictures.
