We are very excited to say.........

we are going to be a big brother and sister!!!!!

We are expecting the beginning of July!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a big surprise and I am still very shocked that it is really happening. We found out before Thanksgiving and we had a second appointment last week. The ultrasound shows ONE healthy baby and we are 11 weeks!! I am continuing things as normal except no more running and no picking up 2 babies at once. I started all my meds for extra support and we are on the track of a normal pregnancy. Charles and I had decided that we would not be going back through fertility treatments, so if it happened it happened. God provided once again and we are so grateful and excited. Of course I worry about Lucy Kate and Bryant because they will go through the most changes, but hopefully they will be excited about there new baby brother or sister. I love the picture of them and these will be the shirts they wear when the baby arrives. Please pray for us as we begin this journey again. Fear sinks in quite often and I just want to make it to the end, but then I remind myself that all things are in God's hands.

Poor Hutch

I showed the picture of Bailey after the fight, with the duck taped ear. Poor hutch came out much worse. When we arrived home Thursday evening the side of his head was swollen and his eyes were very red. He had been scratching his ear that had been hurt in the fight. It was awful looking and Charles said it could wait until morning. I had Hutch to the vet by 9 and Dr. Grant had to sedate him so he could get the area all cleaned up. It looked really bad and I knew Hutch would continue to scratch it so I asked for a cone to be put on his head. When we left he could not walk and just looked pitiful, he stayed inside all day. He has not quite figured out what is on him and he keeps running into everything. A few days of antibiotics and ointment a few times a day and hopefully the cone can come off.

Christmas Decorations

How I love to decorate for Christmas!! It is so exciting to get ready for this amazing time of year the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is amazing how much he loves us and what He has done for us and continues to do for us. I get so caught up in the decorations but never forget the true reason for the season. If I could I would put up even more trees and lights and stuff everywhere!

This is Bryant and Lucy Kate's tree, we had to put it up a little higher this year!

This is our funky tree in our big den. It has all bright colors and nothing traditional.

Our living room tree which is more traditional. I love to get all the ornaments out each year, all my hallmark ornaments have such special meaning.

Love, Love, Love my willow tree nativity scene

Not only do we wait for Santa to fill our stockings, but so do Hutch and Bailey

Charles' hunting tree

This ceramic tree is so special to me. My grandmother made it and I am so honored to have it and enjoy it each year.

Just add a little duck tape

Duck tape fixes everything and it really does have 1001 uses! Bailey and Hutch got into a huge fight and of course Hutch got a hold of Bailey's ear, which bleeds and bleeds forever. Our garage looked like some type of massacre and Bailey was dripping blood all over the floor. Charles discovered all of this while I was gone to a JA party, but he cleaned up all the mess and then we had to bandage Bailey up. He shakes his ears all the time and I could just see it all over my walls, carpet and drapes. Charles had a solution, duck tape! It worked and hopefully it want pull all of his hair off.

Who was watching you guys?

Charles was on the phone and I was on the computer, thinking the other one was watching the babies. Wrong, no supervision and this was the result...
They rolled our house!

Lauranne's Baby Shower

Betsy, Lauranne, Heather, Andrea, and I
It is always so exciting when a dear friend is expecting! Lauranne and Steven are going to be such fun parents and we are so excited for them. We celebrated with a baby shower in Cleveland and she got lots of great things! We can't wait for her little precious angel to arrive.

Road Trip

We have been planning to go to North Carolina for Thanksgiving for quite some time. Charles' mom, step-dad, and brother live out there. Scott, Liz, Evan and Christopher also came to visit for Thanksgiving. We fed and bath the babies and headed out Monday night at 7PM. It was a 12 hour drive and we were trying to at least make it to Atlanta. The babies slept the whole way to Atlanta, we arrived there around 1:30. Charles was to tired to go anymore so we checked into the hotel around 2:00 and got some sleep. We left the next morning around 10:30 and finished the rest of the trip. With much Mickey Mouse clubhouse the babies did a great job on such a long trip. We had a good time at his mom's house and enjoyed Thanksgiving with all of Gib's family. Kathy was able to get a family pic with all her boys and the trip was a a success. We left Friday after Thanksgiving, mid afternoon and drove the whole way. We stopped outside of Atlanta and met some friends to have dinner, but that was it. Home sweet home nothing like it!
Riding the luggage cart out of the hotel, they thought it was great!

Lots of family fun
While we were in North Carolina I was able to meet Lucy, Colton, and Emma. They mean so much to us and we connected because Colton received his trachea shortly after Bryant. Kathy gave Lucy my number and a great friendship started from that point, about a year ago. Colton is such a fighter and is so happy just watching everyone around him. Hopefully we will be able to get together again soon. It was such a blessing and something I had been looking forward to for a long time.
