Happy Birthday Mack

The birthday boy enjoying his cupcake!
When I got home Sunday we loaded up and went to Batesville for Mack's birthday party. It was a riding party and all the kids brought toys to ride on, so we brought the wagon. The best thing to contain them and they love to watch all the other kids. God provided us with a beautiful day to celebrate Mack's birthday and we are so glad we were able to make the party.

Not the best but the only picture of us

Rock n Roll

We had a great time in Nashville and the race was amazing. Much diferent than the St. Jude1/2 marathon and how we have been able to train. The hills were a big change and it was up and down for most of the 13.1 miles. We all finished with great times and my goal was under 2 hours and I finished in exactly 2 hours! I hope to do even better on the next one (it will be awhile). Kate and I ate great food, shopped all afternoon and enjoyed some time away from mom duties. We returned home early Sunday and back in mommy mode it was, life is toooooooo great!
There were so many people!
About to pass out after the race

The Official Birthday Pictures

So excited to have received the birthday pictures from Will Jacks over the weekend. He has been so busy so it took a little longer to receive these pics, but it was well worth the wait. The pictures are amazing and he captured every single moment of this very special day. Check it out and order away because he got some great ones of the other kids.

Too Cute!

Charles and I went it to check on the babies as we do every night and they are always in the craziest sleeping positions. When have had some problems with Lucy Kate putting her legs through the rails on the bed and she wakes up crying because she is stuck. Well when we walked in we both had to run out because we were laughing so hard. She had her legs through the rails but she was sleeping so good she didn't mind at all. We moved her and made her a little more comfortable, but of course we had to take pictures first.

Family Weekend

Kathy and Bobby left Friday morning and Bobby was feeling a little better but Kathy was still feeling pretty bad. She managed to wake up Thursday morning with the stomach virus and I am not sure how she managed to drive all the way home Friday. After much scrubbing and cleaning to make sure we did not get the bug I was ready to get out of the house. Charles was off work so we loaded up the babies and went to Memphis for the afternoon. Had to run a couple of errands and we met my parents for dinner at On The Border. Bryant and Lucy Kate had so much fun and we didn't make it home until after 9. Way past their bed time but they really enjoyed it! Saturday we enjoyed another day together and went downtown to the Juke Joint Festival. Bryant and Lucy Kate enjoyed the petting zoo and the racing pigs. The weather was great and as soon as we got home the bottom fell out! Out yard looked like a lake, the babies will love it when they get older because we will have plenty of mud puddles to splash in. We were off to church Sunday morning and then headed to Cleveland to celebrate Matthew Short's 5th birthday. The babies enjoyed some time in the bouncy thing and of course the cake. We had so much fun and hope to see the Short's again soon.

MeeMaw and Bobby

It is spring break for Charles' brother Bobby so they came to visit. We have enjoyed having them and the babies really enjoy playing with them. Poor Bobby became very sick last night and has the stomach virus. They were going to go to Memphis to visit Kathy's sister but were unable to since Bobby is so sick. We hope the babies don't get sick!

Aunt Emily looking so Beautiful

Emily had her senior prom last week and she looked so beautiful. I went over to help with her makeup and take pictures when they arrived. The prom theme was "A Night in Paris" and everything looked very nice. Hard to believe that in less than a month she will graduate and step out on her own (somewhat). I still need my mom and dad and she will soon realize that too, even after she leaves for collage. We love her so much and will miss her when she is gone.
