The Great Flood

Last weekend it rained, a lot! Our neighborhood does not drain well and the result was a very flooded yard. We have never seen it this bad and it was such a mess!

After nap time and all the funky weather the babies were ready to go outside. They ended up in the ditches full of water and had the best time! People who know me probable think I would freak out but I really don't mind good dirty fun for the kids. Anna Sims, John Andrew, Rutledge, and Luke all came over to play. By the end they were all in the ditch having the best time. Who new a horrible drainage system could lead to an afternoon of so much fun.

Mud Pies anyone?

Happy Birthday Honey

We celebrated Charles' 29th birthday on April 23rd. The weekend before we cooked out with my parents to celebrate and then this past weekend we got together with some friends to celebrate. Lucy Kate and Bryant also made daddy a sign and brownies and surprised him when he got home form work.

Hey Cowboy

We celebrated with Mack for his cowboy birthday at Cedar Hill Farms. All the kids had such a great time and the party was perfect.

Golf with Daddy

Bryant went to the golf course with his daddy for the first time! Lucy Kate stayed home with my mom and I and she was so concerned about Bryant. Bryant did not ask the first time about her and had the best time playing with Will and Warner.

Miniature Masterpieces

We had so much fun in Cleveland at Locals! They were offering a class for two year olds to paint a "masterpiece". Lucy Kate immediately loved it and was very interested, Bryant was thinking we were crazy and needed some help from Aunt Heather to get going. The class will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month and we are so excited for the next class!

No need for a paintbrush, just use your hands

Of course Kammy went with us and was so much help
