Catching up

Tuesday night Ginger and I headed to Oxford to meet some friends. These are some of the girls we went to graduate school with and we always try to get together when Kasey comes to town. She lives in Virginia so we don't see her much. We had a great time catching up and talking about all the things going on in our lives. These girls will always be part of my life and they mean so much.

4th of July Weekend

Happy 4th of July

Things have been so busy and I have not had the oppurtunity to blog about our fun 4th of July weekend. Charles was off work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and it was so nice to have him around. Friday my mom came over to help me with Bryant and Lucy Kate because Charles was playing a 4th of July golf scramble at the Club. We met out at the Club with some friends and I took the babies , this was their first outing to the Country Club and they did great. Saturday mom met me early and we headed to Cleveland to hit up the Punkin Patch 50% off sale. It was such a success and thanks to Kamey the babies have tons of clothes for next summer! After the sale we stopped by to see my great friends the Shorts' new home, it was great and I can't wait until the babies and I can go stay the night. My parents kept the babies that afternoon so Charles and I could go the lake with some friends and even though it started to rain we had a great time! I know it sounds like we really got to do a lot and it felt great to be out of the house, but we still had one more stop to make. After getting the babies ready for bed we headed over to Stoney and Mary Evelyn's house for a party. It was so much fun and we even busted out some TWISTER!! Yes I said twister and I have the pics to prove it. It was such fun and felt great to act like a kid again. Needless to say we had a fun 4th and next year the babies will be able to celebrate with us. The only pictures I have are from twister so enjoy.

Favorite New Toy

It is hard to come up with ways to get Bryant on his tummy without laying on his trach. I found this toy online and picked it up when we went to the ENT this week. He loves it and actually spins around on it. We put Lucy Kate on it as well so she can work on her neck and back strength. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something new during tummy time.

Fun Weekend

We had lots of family time this weekend and it was great. Friday afternoon Charles and I played 9 holes of golf so we could spend time together and Friday night we went out to eat to celebrate my dad's 59th birthday. We went to a great little restaurant in Clarksdale, Rust and the food was great. Saturday my aunt and my grandma came for a visit and it was so special. My grandma has not been able to see her great grandchildren since they were first born. It meant so much too see her and my aunt Gerri. Charles was home for the weekend as things are kind of slow on the farm right now. It was nice to have him around to help out and spend time with the babies.
