Miniature Masterpieces

We had so much fun in Cleveland at Locals! They were offering a class for two year olds to paint a "masterpiece". Lucy Kate immediately loved it and was very interested, Bryant was thinking we were crazy and needed some help from Aunt Heather to get going. The class will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month and we are so excited for the next class!

The first of many

Lucy Kate had her first boo boo! We went over to play with Jackson and Warner and the kids were riding on the gator. I let Lucy Kate ride in the back (where a warning label not to ride in the back is posted) and the tailgate opened and she fell out. She hit the pavement hard but this was the only scratch.

Just for Laughs

Note to husband- Do not leave things in children's reach that they can choke on!

Bryant's doctor suggested we try eye patches when he does not want to wear glasses. Lucy Kate had a fit to wear one as well and we will not try it again. Bryant thought we were crazy!

Charles proceeds to say "How am I supposed to get anything done when them all over me." Really honey, that is my day everyday!

They wore these underwear all day and it was too cute!

Too Sweet

Just love this picture!

Easter Fun

Easter has so much meaning and it is so great to stop and think about the true meaning of Easter. We have been reading books about the true meaning of Easter and Bryant and Lucy Kate will point to Jesus and say his name. Lucy Kate also thought she was talking to Jesus on the phone, it was hilarious.
The kids woke up Easter morning to discover what the Easter bunny brought. It was so much fun and they were so excited. Next we headed out to hunt the eggs he left and they did such a great job. Lucy Kate took it very serious and Bryant would do a little dance back to his basket to put the eggs in. We managed to squeeze it all in and we were only a few minutes late for church. The service was great and of course the church was packed. After church we ate with Charles' family and went to my parents for the afternoon. Papa D hid eggs and Lucy Kate and Bryant were so excited to hint eggs again. The day was perfect and I am so thankful for our risen Savior!

So excited to see what the Easter Bunny left

Not sure the clubs were a good idea, they immediately began to use them as weapons

Very Busy Week!

No time for blogging this past week so I am going to try and catch up. The past week consisted of tons of paperwork for IEP time at school, 21 parent conferences, Bailey had minor surgery, planning the JA all night meeting, a girls night out in Oxford, a 4 hour JA meeting, a trip to cedar hill farms for some Easter fun, egg dying, Laney's birthday party, celebrating Jeremy's birthday and then Easter! Needless to say I started to swell this week and had this strange vein thing going on in my leg. I am planning on taking it much easier this next week, but we love to go and Lucy Kate and Bryant are so active.

Poor Bailey
Hutch and Bailey had a fight and Bailey ended up with stitches in his ear. I have had this dog for 10 years and he had never had surgery or been put to sleep, so I had to be there for the surgery. It didn't take long and he got about 20 stitches. He is all wrapped up and his feet are bound together to keep him from scratching.

Cedar Hill Farms
Ginger and I took the kids to Cedar Hill Farms and we had such a great time. The kids were able to hunt eggs, ride the train, ride ponies, go through the petting zoo, and see the Easter bunny. They were great and we survived the day!
