Lauranne's Baby Shower

Betsy, Lauranne, Heather, Andrea, and I
It is always so exciting when a dear friend is expecting! Lauranne and Steven are going to be such fun parents and we are so excited for them. We celebrated with a baby shower in Cleveland and she got lots of great things! We can't wait for her little precious angel to arrive.

Road Trip

We have been planning to go to North Carolina for Thanksgiving for quite some time. Charles' mom, step-dad, and brother live out there. Scott, Liz, Evan and Christopher also came to visit for Thanksgiving. We fed and bath the babies and headed out Monday night at 7PM. It was a 12 hour drive and we were trying to at least make it to Atlanta. The babies slept the whole way to Atlanta, we arrived there around 1:30. Charles was to tired to go anymore so we checked into the hotel around 2:00 and got some sleep. We left the next morning around 10:30 and finished the rest of the trip. With much Mickey Mouse clubhouse the babies did a great job on such a long trip. We had a good time at his mom's house and enjoyed Thanksgiving with all of Gib's family. Kathy was able to get a family pic with all her boys and the trip was a a success. We left Friday after Thanksgiving, mid afternoon and drove the whole way. We stopped outside of Atlanta and met some friends to have dinner, but that was it. Home sweet home nothing like it!
Riding the luggage cart out of the hotel, they thought it was great!
Woo Hoo Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Just needed to snuggle with her daddy's coat
Lots of family fun
While we were in North Carolina I was able to meet Lucy, Colton, and Emma. They mean so much to us and we connected because Colton received his trachea shortly after Bryant. Kathy gave Lucy my number and a great friendship started from that point, about a year ago. Colton is such a fighter and is so happy just watching everyone around him. Hopefully we will be able to get together again soon. It was such a blessing and something I had been looking forward to for a long time.

Day with the Animals

Mom and I have wanted to take the babies to the zoo for the longest time. The weather was great so we took them the weekend before Thanksgiving (yes I am very behind in blogging world!) They really enjoyed it and lasted all day! The Memphis zoo is so nice and they are always building new sections. I am not sure what they liked the most but they were pretty interested in the ducks and the polar bears!
They loves watching the polar bears
Bryant would put his hand out to touch
Walking with Kammy, we love our Kammy!

A little Mickey and Friends

What a great weekend we had taking the kids to see Playhouse Disney. Betsy, Lilli, Andrea, and Madelyn came down and stayed the night. The kids played, we went to open house, and had an adventurous time out to eat! We picked up my mom Sunday morning and headed to Memphis. The kids loved the show and did great! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a big deal at our house and we will definitely go back to another show!

Farming with Daddy

We went out one afternoon to ride with Charles and the babies loved it!!! Bryant was all into the parts and wanting to mess with everything. Lucy Kate wanted to drive and keep the music up loud. She was dancing for us and driving that big red combine!

A Little Cat in the Hat

We love books around here so we went all out with it for Halloween. The babies were dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 and Bailey was Cat in the Hat. They were so cute and had so much fun with all their friends. Everyone came over to enjoy great snacks, pumpkin painting and a hayride. We have the perfect neighborhood for Trick or Treating and Bryant and Lucy Kate had so much fun going around to all the houses. Already thinking about what they can be next year!

A Little Slice of Heaven......

Tailgating in the grove!! It is so wonderful and this was the first of many times that Bryant and Lucy Kate will be tailgating in the Grove. We had a full day and they had the best time playing with Mack and Colton. The day was great and I can't wait to take them back.
The day started out cold so they were all bundled up!
Ole Miss Marching Band getting everyone fired up!
Lucy Kate was very impressed with the band
