A Little Slice of Heaven......

Tailgating in the grove!! It is so wonderful and this was the first of many times that Bryant and Lucy Kate will be tailgating in the Grove. We had a full day and they had the best time playing with Mack and Colton. The day was great and I can't wait to take them back.
The day started out cold so they were all bundled up!
Ole Miss Marching Band getting everyone fired up!
Lucy Kate was very impressed with the band
A snapshot with the kernel
Our attempt at a picture with all the kids

Rebecca's Big Day

A wedding is always a joyous occasion and we celebrated with pedicures and dinner on Thursday night. We had a bridesmaid luncheon Saturday and it was off to the church. Rebecca was beautiful and her day was great! We wish her and Mark all the happiness in the world.
Enjoying her pedicure

Just waiting on wedding time

True Football Weather

We were able to go to the Ole Miss game and is was cold!! It took us 2 hours to get to Oxford and then we walked about half a mile to out tailgate destination. Despite the coldy rainy weather we has a great time. We are planning on going back and taking the babies, they will love it!

Missing Daddy

A few weeks ago Charles had been busy working and had not seen Lucy Kate and Bryant awake, so we headed to Lula. We were unable to ride the combine but we got to visit with everyone! We will have to make another trip since they are actually back in the field.

Cedar Hill Farm

We went to the Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando this past Friday and we had such a great time. The kids enjoyed a picnic, hay ride, the pumpkin patch, playing on the pirate ship, riding ponies, riding the train and the petting zoo. The weather was perfect for the 8 of us, 3 adults and 5 kids! They always manage to out number us and we always seem more tired then they are. If you are close to the Hernando you should definetly load the kids up and go for a great afternoon!
They picked out there own pumpkins
Perfect!
Just too funny!
Bryant will do anything and Lucy Kate was screaming about the whole thing

Pillow Pile

We had to get creative during all those rainy days, so we made a pillow pile. I was trying to find activities on the Internet to do and most of the things my kids are not ready for. Bryant still eats the crayons and paint would be a total disaster at this point, so we opted for pillows (easy cleanup and hours of fun).

Happy Birthday To Anderson

We celebrated Anderson's Birthday in Cleveland with balloons, a ball pit, and a bouncy thing. Heather was so smart and had it all set up in the man room so the kids would not destroy the house! This was the weekend after Anderson had his little accident, so you will see that he has some stitches in his head. He also got a riding toy and helmet and he wore the helmet for most of the party, which probable was a good thing for him! We love the Shorts and we were excited to celebrate Anderson's big day
.
Such a cute cake, by Jackie Morgan of course
We cleared out the big kids and they loved it!
Anderson (yes with the helmet) and Bryant waiting to join in
Taking a break in Anderson's new chair
You can kind of see the stitches in his head, poor baby!
