May 10th we headed to LeBonheur for Bryant to have and outpatient procedure done. He has been suffering from UTI's on and off and after a horrible VCUG test it was confirmed that he had reflux from his bladder to his kidneys. After meeting with Dr. Williams we decided we would go the easy route and hopefully the deflux procedure would be enough. The other option is major surgery and of course we hope to avoid that. We had to be at the hospital very early and he was scheduled for 8AM. It is always so hard for them to take him from us, but I know it is in God's hands. It was short and we were out by lunch, he was hard to wake up after the procedure but other than that it was a breeze. We are headed back for a follow up to make sure the gel stayed in place and in July we will repeat the VCUG to see if all reflux is gone. Keep him in your prayers please.
