This little boy amazes me everyday! He has been through so much and he just keeps smiling and brings us so much joy. Charles and I loaded up the car early this morning and headed to LeBonheur for his Modified Barium Swallow. We have been so nervous about this test because it was the determining factor of when the trach will come out. He sat in that chair like a big boy and drank that nasty barium and passed his test. Everything looked great and he is not aspirating. Of course I called Dr. Thompson as soon as we were finished. He explained that we would have to "trach" Bryant down. This just means that we will put in a smaller trach than what he has now for one month and then we will have to put in one more trach that is smaller than that for one month. So we are looking at the end of October to have the trach removed. We are so excited and we want everyone to continue to pray for us!
Just waiting and look at my cute little arm band.
This is the seat he had to sit in for the test, always so happy!
Poor guy had to drink this stuff.
